Ah, Meretta, I'm afraid if I sleep I shall miss the summer ;) Hey, I DO live in a rainforest, ya know. Seriously, it was more about need than dedication -- need to get some cobwebs out my head, and need to do it when it wasn't 36 degrees in the shade.

Look after that ankle, friend.

((Bailey))) I can imagine your distress. I know I'd miss that crisp air that seems to sink to the very bottom of you lungs like a drink of water. Buuuut ... our winters can be a tad long and, well, snowy.

Thanks, toni -- doing fine now. Hope your family has knocked that flu thing.

Solstice has gone already--how scary is that ?

Hope you are feeling better today!

I know I'm going to rain on your parade - but I hate summer. I hate heat, I can't breathe, I can't move. I get depressed (you've heard of the winter blues, I get the summer ones). I come alive when the air gets crisp and the leaves turn and the chill of winter starts up.

Sorry you missed the first goal - but I'm sure you'll hit it tomorrow.

Ah, Loreth. You are a dedicated runner. 10 p.m. hmm? Must confess I was snoozing by then. But you are right. It's a beautiful time of the year and before we're plunged back into the depths of winter, we'd do well to enjoy it. Thanks for the reminder!
