Another month bites the dust
Floating jelly beans
July saw temperatures in the 40s (100s) …. and had us all wilting here in the mountains, but we woke yesterday to that distinct glacial chill in the air, and a fresh dusting of powder on the peaks. This place does not know middle ground!!
And the WINNER OF THE JULY CONTEST IS …. CRYSTAL!!

Toni Anderson Says:
Congrats Crystal!! What a win!!!!
Kristen Says:
Congrats, Crystal, that’s great!!
It’s 95 right now, and it’s 8:30PM. I can’t believe ya’ll got snow!! A ‘dusting’ of powder (frozen solid) is all we ever get even in the winter! Ah, well, if I wanted snow, I’d live in like, Wisconsin or Michigan. I prefer heat…
I found The Sheik Who Loved Me, Loreth, and I really liked it!!! Great job!
Bailey Stewart Says:
Congratulations Crystal!
It’s 89 here and it’s 11:02 p.m. And Kristen is right, we’re lucky if we get a dusting of powder all winter.
One month closer to winter – Yay!! Or, since there are a lot of people who prefer the heat, I’ll change that to “one more month closer to Nationals in Dallas!”
Loreth Says:
Yessss … let’s go with one month closer to Nationals in Dallas!!!!
