EL JEQUE QUE ME AMO

This would be the cover of my Thorndike Press Large Print Spanish Language Series (how’s that for a mouthful) hardcover edition of THE SHEIK WHO LOVED ME which will be released in September.

Can anyone figure out what that is in the top right corner??? Looks a bit like a mattress to me Hmmmm ……

I’m delighted to see that my SHEIK is getting around, though. So far – Spain and South America, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand (that’s not the cover — that’s the SAFE PASSAGE Aus edition, but the Sheik one looks very similar), Iceland, and North America.

Seems to be a case of ‘have SHEIK, will travel ‘  … or at least the Sheik concept appears to translate well into foreign markets.

No running for me today . Not feeling good — battling a devil of a sore throat and some sort of cold bug passed on from DD, which is making work a bit of a struggle, too. I have higher hopes for tomorrow ….

   I always thought that que meant what, but… oh well. I guess my Spanish skills must be a bit rusty. I mean, it has been a really long time since elementary school.

   That’s really awesome that it’s getting around!!

   You know, it looks a bit like styrofoam or something. You know, the really big chunks that come in boxes? Though that’s really tall for styrofoam…
