A FINE CHILL IN THE AIR
The view from my deck yesterday. Today, you’d be hard-pressed to see anything through the stinging crystals of blowing snow and -23 C windchill. And yep, the forecast is for even colder temps and MORE snow! I think I’ve had my fill of power cuts … let’s hope those stiff heavy trees do NOT blow onto the power lines, or you won’t ‘see’ me again for awhile.
Today is the last day to vote in round two of the Romantic Times AMERICAN TITLE III contest!!!! Please head on over and vote – or simply fire off an email to webmaster@romantictimes.com with the title (preferably ’RISING SIN’
) in the subject line. Remember, all these entrants have been deemed good enough for a contract with Dorchester … it comes down to a numbers game now …

Meretta ~ American Title Finalist Says:
Ah! There you are. We were getting worried. Lovely picture despite your cold temperatures! Can I moan about my -36C
Love the dogtag vote picture, too. Very appropriate given my hero’s background, as well as DH’s! Thanks for the support, Loreth!
Mary Says:
Hi Loreth!
Our own heavy snowfall has finally brought me out of lurkdom
Missing those snowy prairie days of my childhood, I’ve been drooling over your winter photos for the past couple weeks–and totally understand your daughter cherishing that first day snow, LOL! But, today, as I sit in my office and look out at almost a foot of the white stuff and barely any visibility, I grin and think, YES!
Keep up with the gorgeous winter scenes. Ours will be gone in a few days and I’ll need to live vicariously again…
Happy writing!
Mary
Toni Anderson Says:
Loreth–we’re at a balmy -19C tonight. Winterpeg?? Not yet
Weird weather year we’re having, I hope you warm up and the power stays on!!!
Beeswax Says:
I voted Meretta!
Best of luck
Orange shorts
Meretta ~ American Title Finalist Says:
Thanks, Orange Shorts! You are a good man!
Bailey Stewart Says:
There’s other people besides Meretta to vote for?
Balmy here too – supposed to get up to close to 80 tomorrow. Then a cold front hits and we’ll drop almost 40 degrees. I know, not cold by your standards, but this is Texas …
I hope your power lines haven’t gone out again.
Meretta ~ American Title Finalist Says:
LOL Bailey! And wear your scarf tomorrow!
Loreth Says:
Wrap up warm, Bailey
Bailey Stewart Says:
Cold front hits Wednesday night – I’ll be wrapping up good and tight. Someone even mentioned the “S” word. It can snow on Friday – I don’t have to go anywhere until Saturday and it will be gone by then.
