And even though they’re of snowy scenes, or is it because of that, your pictures are great. I love to see the sun on ice, hoarfrost or snow. Or even snow-covered houses hidden amongst snow-covered trees.

Glad to see that Neely Shae is getting educated. Yep, it took me a while to find her between the colors of the sofa. But she’s there. So, Bailey, you and Bubba are reading “Rules…”? I bought it yesterday while I was getting meds. I didn’t want to be out for 3 hours just to come back with, well meds. I had to have something else to show for all that time.

Reading time has been hard to come by. I have several things that I’ve got to finish by tomorrow, and will if I’m lucky. Then I can get at a bunch of the books. Then I’ve got to hope that a friend will bring her digital camera to work so that I can be photographed in all my non-glory. Tonight I’m going to a seniors’ Christmas banquet with a friend. I don’t have that status legally in Canada yet, but my friend does. I’ve known a lot of these people for a long time so I won’t feel lost. It’s the seniors’ group at church. We shall be dining at the poshest golf club in the London, ON area.

I’m afraid that we’re in for your kind of weather soon, Loreth. Last night at 7:00 p.m. it was 14C, 57F. That’s supposed to be down to 50 right about now and steadily falling until we hit the minuses on Saturday. From the way I felt yesterday, I’d never have thought it was that “warm”. It was windy and drizzling and I was *cold* with my winter coat on.

Best wishes for the Marathon and the training. I hope to have some pictures for you when you get back, if not before. I know you’ll make us all proud.

But she is very pretty. She’s a tortoishell. The shot was originally set up for my black/white Maine Coon Aidan, but he wouldn’t cooperate (something about boys not reading romances or some such nonesense), and Bubba and Baileyboo were a definite no-no, so I turned to calm old lady Neely Shae (10 in January). I didn’t even think about the background until after the photo was taken and uploaded. Poor little girl, she deserved a much prettier debut. I’ll have to try to put a picture of her on my blog sometime.
