My horoscope :
Let me clarify your situation for you, Cancerian. Up until a short time ago, you’d been wandering through halls of mirrors, metaphorically speaking. Then you spied a hammer on the floor, got seized by a rash impulse, and proceeded to smash a lot of glass — again, metaphorically speaking. That was the first step to finding your way out of the labyrinth. Now you’re ready for the next step: actually escaping. As you head out, I advise you to be careful that you don’t cut yourself on all the shards. Liberation is near enough; there’s no need to rush. Walk calmly and carefully towards the sound of the heartbeat you hear in the distance, metaphorically speaking.

I love this guy!! You can twist his words to suit yourself :). But I do find this apt — today in particular.

If I want to take anything to the next level, pacing myself will be key this year.

Wow :) He gave me a fantastic one this week too :)

Those icicles look familiar - we have the same thing here. We’re expecting rain again - and with the temp at 32, that could go one way or another. I’ll take the one way, the other is too dicey.

    Interesting horoscope.

Must check mine. I bet it says ’stop procrastinating’. ;)

Nice icicles. Care to send one my way? We’ve got a science project today that requires one and ours are waaaaay up high on our barns. I suppose I’ll have to get the ladder out.

PS I think your horoscope is quite appropriate, as well.

Thanks so much for your plotting reply yesterday, Loreth. And I’m not sorry I asked at all. I’m really struggling to learn how to get my words down on paper and end up with a story. I’ve tried all kinds of different approaches, probably feeling I should be writing into the mist too, but I can’t and now that I see your method I think it will really help me.

Regarding into the mist writing, I always think of Nora Roberts who supposedly sits down and writes ‘Chapter 1′ and then just takes it from there. And she’s done it 250 times! I just shake my head and say ‘God Bless her.’ In every field there has to be at least one wonder woman.

Thanks again for the response. You are an inspiration to me. (I should add, running-wise as well as writing-wise.) The struggle continues, but I’m not giving up yet.

  6. Loreth Says:

Yes, God bless Nora Roberts :) :)

And thank you, Ellen. Perseverance is 90 per cent of this battle. And I am more than happy to answer questions — not sure the answers will be any help, but I can talk about what works for me.

  7. Loreth Says:

And I am ALWAYS too keen to talk about running :)
