DAY ONE!

week-one-day-one.JPG

Week one/day one of the half-marathon training program with DD#2. Saturday was also our first looong run day. Weather was perfect, the company awesome, the trails sublime.  I was a little overcautious with the ol’ knee .. worried about slipping in snow that had turned to ice, or that suddenly gave way underfoot, so we took it slow. Well, I took it slow, and that was my excuse and I’m sticking to it ;).

The only caveat — running with a 13-year-old  makes me feel like lump of rusty old metal. Baaaaad for the ego.

Now to try and force myself back to work instead of taking a nap ….

PS: I have a tentative publication date for THE HEART OF A RENEGADE – February 2008, three months after SEDUCING THE MERCENARY in November 2007.

Looking great, Loreth! Two weeks after the Sun Run, I’m feeling a little like that lump you mentioned. Haven’t been as faithful as before the run. :/ But that’s about to change this week! Btw, congrats on the Feb date. Looks like we’ll have books released together again. :) My continuity is slotted for the same month.

    Happy running & writing!
    Mary

You have such a lovely area in which to run! I miss that…. now I have corn fields… :) And an eleven year old son who can out run me!!! Never thought I’d see the day. :)
