THE MERC GOES BRIT

Out in the UK July 20 – THE HEART OF THE MERCENARY is being released as a Mills and Boon Intrigue, and is now also available via Amazon UK.
I should have been writing the Merc today — it was as hot as the Congo here the mountains. Well, almost
The temperature at this time of year seems to acquire the ability to shoot from zero to 30 C in a matter of hours. Ironically, I wrote the Merc — trying to capture the feeling of equatorial jungle – during the cold heart of winter. Today I am writing RENEGADE — trying to portray the frigid snows of February, while the forecast is calling for hot sunny skies and 30 degrees tomorrow. Extreme fire hazard tossed in to boot.
I think I need to work on my timing ….

GREEN-UP

The world went green while I had my head buried in edits! We have a short summer in the mountains — things need to move fast
In writing news — THE HEART OF A RENEGADE – book two in my next installment of the Silhouette Romantic Suspense Shadow Soliders series – will be released in March 2008. It’s been moved back a month to accommodate production schedules. SEDUCING THE MERCENARY, however, is still on target for a November 2007 launch. Watch for an excerpt in a few days …

GOING FOR GOLD

She knew what she wanted, trained hard, prepared mentally, dealt with an attack of nerves when she set out her gear the night before ….. but my baby took the gold. First place in the Whistler Try a Tri triathlon in her age category! Good job kiddo.
One step at a time really does get you there … but you have to have that goal. Like writing a book

LIFE ON THE RUN

Crazy busy. Moving too fast. Life’s a blur. That’s what it feels like. But by tomorrow, I should be clear of another deadline. YAY is me
PS- don’t try this at home folks. Keep your lens up, and focused on the road ahead. You never know when that bear skat is going to show up …….. or the bear himself for that matter.
