OFFICIALLY ‘TRUE NORTH’

hot-and-hazy.JPG

We drove 30 mins north to this Pemberton farm near the Mount Currie reserve yesterday. Very hot and hazy and mosquito-ridden day. But gloriously beautiful, as always. That peak in the background is Mount Currie herself, complete with plunging avalanche chutes. I plan to come back to take photos around this area in February, in the snow. Because that’s the time of year the hero and heroine of THE HEART OF A RENEGADE come through this region with Dragon Heads Triad members hot on their tail. My hero, a reluctant bodyguard and true renegade, is intimately familiar with this region through his solo backcountry trips. And I’d like to post a photo journal of the places visited in my locally-set Silhouette Romantic Suspense on my website just before the March 2008 release.

And in other news: TRUE NORTH is now the official title of my new SRS mini-series launching next year. I am thrilled!!!! The series will kick off with the first book which is now officially titled MAN HUNTER – which is perfect for the story. So very happy there, too :) . This one sees a Mountie paired with Mantracker heroine. More to come later …
