Wishful thinking! We didn’t even get a summer. Let alone a fall. But snow is good for business in this neck of the woods

Well at least you are getting a winter even if it is ONLY September (actually it’s October now). Where I live some years we don’t really get a winter. I live on the Texas Gulf Coast. Oh we may have a few cold days but rarely cold enough to be freezing and an inch of snow every 100 years.

I just can’t believe it. I feel like I blinked once and summer went by. Geeze. It looks pretty, but … um, can we do some again? I missed it!

We’re in the same boat, Loreth, though of course, we’re farther north.
It’s snowing as I type. Nice fat flakes, though and not those nasty biting ones like we had the other day. I dislike those ones. They’re just miserable!

LOL — We were just complaining that its been way too warm this year. Here it was the end of September and we were hitting the high 80′s to low 90′s wishing for shade getting sunburnt at our kid’s football games.
I like my falls… the cool crisp air, the nip on the nose, the musky damp scents only present this time of year…
