CAN YOU SEE THEM?
An annual sign of spring — trumpeter swans on our lakes. Incredibly big and gracious birds with a rather ungracious and tubular honk. Coupled with the return of the Canada geese — they’re the brass band flying ahead of warmer weather. One hopes.
No run today. Rest day. And a day to dabble with my Vegas book.

Minna Says:
We have swans here, too. But so far they have only come here to eat once or twice a day.
Loreth Says:
I would LOVE to see some photos of your part of the world, Minna!
Minna Says:
Too bad I don’t have a digital camera. But there are plenty of pictures for instance on the pages of Virtual Finland.
