‘A FIX OF LOVE AND DANGER’
I have been waiting with bated breath to hear what reader, writer, and fellow Canadian, Laurie Wood thought of MANHUNTER. I wanted her feedback especially since she has worked as cop in Canada, and not only that, she has lived in a remote Northern town with — in her words –” the long dark winter, the trackers, the police, and doctors who’re stranded with no roads out of there. You could only get in by bush plane from Timmins Ontario, and I can attest to the fact that a six-seater bush plane can give you a gigantic migraine.”
And these are her thoughts on her blog, WRITING ON THE EDGE.
Thank you, Laurie. I feel humbled.

I can hardly wait to read my copy, Loreth. What a treat you’ve given us with Canada’s far north as a setting.
I’ve no doubt that you’ve done a fabulous job…everyone has said so! CONGRATULATIONS!
Meretta Says:
Loreth, I just wanted to say that I stayed up late last night to finish Manhunter. It was INCREDIBLE. Silver and Gabe and their conflicting emotions/issues were perfect and you pulled the plot together so well.
And the tension! Oh my. Did I mention I stayed up late?
It was a thrilling ride! Thank you!
You always nail a setting, taking me there so easily with your words, but when reading Manhunter I was in awe of how well you captured the spirit and beauty of our great land. I’m so proud that you’re helping represent Canada to the romance reading world.
You’ve done another marvelous job! Bravo!
