DARKNESS COMES
My world has turned grey. Dawn arrives later each day, dusk hovers ever closer, the clouds lower. The only brightness through the cold rain at the moment is the color of dying leaves. And I find my thoughts turning inwards — probably a good thing for a writer, right? But without the sun I find myself waiting, hungering for the brightness of white winter snow … whoda thunk it.
