GIFTS FOR READERS AND WRITERS!
Among the awesome auction items up for bid in Alison Kent‘s fundraiser event for Jo Leigh is a critique offered by my agent, Jennifer Jackson of the Donald Maass Literary Agency.
Sadly, Jo Leigh lost her husband to cancer earlier this year, and like many writers she and her husband had no health coverage. Alison and friends decided to help out by putting a call out to the writing community for contributions to auction. On offer are author/agent/editor critiques along with books and other goodies.
Jennifer has stepped up to the plate by offering a critique of three chapters (not to exceed 50 pages) and a synopsis (up to 10 pages). You can bid here –>> http://tinyurl.com/5zzus4

OUT NOW, THE STORY FROM DOWN UNDER …
BREAKING FREE is book 10 in Silhouette’s exciting 12-book THOROUGHBRED LEGACY series, and the last four books (9-12) are on shelves now!!
In BREAKING FREE, Aussie cop Dylan Hastings believes in things that are real. Family. Integrity. Justice. And he knows from bitter experience that the wrong woman can destroy it all. So when Megan Stafford walks into his life—a gorgeous urbanite who represents everything Dylan opposes—he knows trouble’s not far behind.
Megan can’t understand why she’s so attracted to this infuriating man—even if he could double as a Greek god. She’s a city girl. He’s a country cop. And their attraction only reminds them why they shouldn’t be together. Now, immersed in a battle of wills and desire, Dylan and Megan are tempted to break their own rules!
And from Amelia at CATAROMANCE:
“…However, sometimes love cannot be ignored and BREAKING FREE shows the power behind this fervent emotion. The sexual tension between Dylan and Megan is palpable from the beginning of the story, and the moment is explosive when their attraction cannot be denied. With several unknowns in this story, there is plenty to keep the reader intrigued and their revelations are surprising. BREAKING FREE is an engaging blend of romance and mystery, filled with heartfelt passions and hidden secrets.”
Thank you Amelia!!
